25th Anniversary Celebration and Embutaikai

In 2025 we are celebrating our 25th anniversary with a public demonstration, or embutaikai, on Saturday August 23rd, 2025, 2pm, at the Mark Morris Dance Center (3 Lafayette Avenue, Brooklyn NY 11217).

Demonstrators include Kawabe Takeshi Shihan and other teachers and members from Japan, France, and the US.

This event is a rare opportunity to view authentic Daito-ryu as practiced by Kobukan. Tickets go on sale June 1st. Check back here for updates.
