25th Anniversary Celebration and Embutaikai

In 2025 we are celebrating our 25th anniversary with a public demonstration, or embutaikai, on Saturday August 23rd, 2025, 2pm, at the Mark Morris Dance Center (3 Lafayette Avenue, Brooklyn NY 11217).

This event is a rare opportunity to view authentic Daito-ryu as practiced by Kobukan. Demonstrators include Kawabe Takeshi Shihan and other teachers and members from Japan, France, and the US.
